At its core is a unique pickup pairing featuring a PRS DS-01 humbucker in the bridge and a PRS Narrowfield pickup in the neck. Together, they produce everything from crisp, articulate cleans to rich, punchy overdrive with remarkable clarity and definition. A push-pull coil split on the tone control expands the guitar’s sonic range even further, transforming the bridge humbucker into a single-coil voice for added sparkle and versatility.

The PRS plate-style bridge is fitted with specially designed brass saddles that enhance sustain while ensuring accurate intonation across the entire fretboard. Whether you’re laying down tracks in the studio or taking the stage night after night, the S2 Vela delivers inspiring tone, effortless playability, and the dependable performance to handle any musical situation.
