PRS Artist Package instruments come standard with exceptional tone woods, including an artist grade (flame or quilt) maple top, select mahogany back, ebony headstock veneer with inlaid signature, ebony truss rod cover, and premium Mexican ebony fingerboard. This is the first time outside of the Private Stock program that PRS is offering Mexican ebony, a wood which, once oiled, turns a beautiful, deep chocolate brown. Several unique options are also available, including the choice of PRS’s coveted 57/08, 59/09, or 53/10 pickups (excluding the P22 and 513); gold, nickel, or hybrid hardware; a figured maple or East Indian rosewood neck; and a figured maple (maple neck only) or ebony fretboard. New artist bird inlays (green abalone with green ripple outlines on Mexican ebony and ebony fretboards / green abalone with black lip mother of pearl outlines on maple fretboards), V12 finish, and an artist case are also included.With brilliant acoustics and a vast array of tones, the Hollowbody II has been a constant favorite in our dynamic lineup of hollow instruments. The combination of the maple top and back with mahogany sides provides tonal clarity and extraordinary resonance.

The LR Baggs/PRS Piezo System comes standard, providing musicians with the versatility of wielding both acoustic and electric guitar tones in one instrument. There are two output jacks on the Hollowbody II, allowing guitarists to plug into their favorite electric guitar or acoustic guitar amp or DI into a soundboard. By utilizing the separate blend control, the tone of the Hollowbody II’s 58/15 LT pickups can also be combined with acoustic sounds through a single output.For 2020, PRS has updated this model with TCI-tuned pickups and nitro over celluose (CAB) finish.
