The Studio Mango Limited Edition from PRS Guitars gives a fresh look to one of the company’s most adaptable designs. Limited to just 200 pieces in 2026, it stands out with a figured mango top and a ziricote fretboard, adding a natural, earthy character to its appearance while keeping the same tonal flexibility players expect. This model combines PRS Narrowfield pickups in the neck and middle positions with a McCarty III humbucker at the bridge, allowing for a wide range of sounds—from bright, articulate tones to thicker, more powerful output. The control setup includes a volume knob, a push/pull tone control, and a 5-way switch, making it easy to dial in different sounds for recording or live use. With a mahogany body and neck, 22 frets, and a 25-inch scale length, it offers the familiar feel PRS instruments are known for. The Gen III tremolo and Phase III locking tuners help maintain stable tuning while allowing for expressive playing.Overall, this limited edition blends unique visual appeal with broad tonal capability, making it a strong option for players who want one guitar that can handle a wide variety of styles.
