A quilted maple top sets this T5z Pro apart from its Standard and other contemporaries in our line of hybrid hollowbody electric guitars. With a subtle transparent black glossy finish that subtly highlights the top’s beautiful maple figure, this model is as visually appealing as it is musically versatile. With a slender Taylor neck configured with jumbo frets and a relatively narrow 1-11/16” nut width, the T5z Pro will feel familiar and comfortable to electric players while offering a newly accommodating feel for players accustomed to acoustic guitars. Also bridging the gap between acoustic and electric styles is the unique three-pickup system that offers players several combinations of the two humbuckers and acoustic body sensor, empowering you to explore new sonic territory as you experiment with the onboard with the five-way switching. Perfectly suited to applications requiring effects, the T5z Pro responds beautifully to pedals across all five pickup settings. Visually, the guitar is appointed with F-holes on the maple top along with pristine white binding and Spire inlays for the fretboard in Italian acrylic. It ships with a deluxe hardshell Taylor electric guitar case.
